Fomalhaut: Prototype

Fomalhaut is a magical 2.5D platformer about a fallen star finding its way back to the night sky. After crash-landing on Earth, the star discovers it can absorb the essence of animals, taking on their forms and abilities to overcome challenges on its journey home. 

Harness the unique abilities of forest creatures to navigate a beautiful and mysterious path. Switch between animal forms at will to solve puzzles and overcome obstacles that stand between you and the heavens.

Starune Studios started out as team of 12 students from Södertörn University in Stockholm. Formed from a university project, our team brings together passionate graphic artists, designers and programmers united by our dedication for game development. With our different backgrounds and experiences in programming and artistic design each team member contributes unique skills and perspectives that we strive to combine to create imaginative concepts with distinctive gameplay.  

This project marks the beginning of our journey in game development, showcasing what dedicated students can achieve when combining academic knowledge with passion and determination.
